How lovely the imagery is artfully blended in this poem! and the rhythm and rhymes offer a gentle flow while reading it. A wise poem, and a great poem for Christmas, as well.

Now God smiles as the little children have lots of fun, The moon and stars can rest in peace as war will cease, People rejoice as love flourishes here over the horizon, With the everlasting memory of the birth of Christ, A beautiful poem on the right message and spirit of Christmas, radiating positive vibes all around! Really enjoyed reading it! Wish you Hazel, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And the world tries to forget all the lies, On the mean streets the little children can be heard to cry, The war of hate makes everybody suffer and so many die, Love can change the ruthless, darkened sky, God smiles through the children. a sign of innocence that can save the world. thank you my dear poetess for your wonderful poem tony

A lovely sentiment expressed in this poem, Hazel. Love can help to heal the problems we all face today, but sadly love, in it's all embracing form, is in very short supply these days. Maybe we need to go back to find our future.
