at just over 20 lines, this poem, already with one comment from me, is a good find for me to 'take' for inclusion in my/our March 2017 showcase for PH poets. let me know if you object and i shall remove it. thanks. bri :)

ok, i glanced at the comments. let's see if your poem lives up to the comments. not that i am much of a judge of LOVE! it is such a slippery word! ! Uttered not we a word But yet said all that there was to be said..........this reminds me of my wife's idea of a pleasant evening with ...........................................................................ME, her husband: the husband speaks NOT ONE WORD! ! yes, despite some poets' perceptions, love does sometimes die, before or after the people do. i'm the almost-ultimate UNromantic. could it be one reason i've been divorced three times. Nahhhhh! give me humor, horror, something other than love! but, if you love love poems [or maybe i should say lost or never-found....... love poems], check out Lora Colon. she is not a riot of humor, but i still like her stuff. bri :) so, am i correct that the boy is/was the moon? it should be. missing commas sometimes trouble me.

Sir, This lovely poem on love that permeates and lives beyond time and space, captures the romantic mood in its entirety. As Valsa madam writes, it just proves how young you are at heart! 10.

You may feel a little worn out in body, but be assured......quite young at heart. This poem is an exclusive proof of that! Reading this I am reminded of Vaikkom Muhammed Basheer's novel which got later converted into a film- 'Mathilukal'! Beautiful and romantic! (10)

You wondered if you could compete with the young generation in writing a love poem? ? ? ? ? ? ? My dear Madathil, you SURPASSED them. This is the loveliest love poem I have read in quite a while- -it has my heart all giddy with delight as I remember a few moonlit nights of my own. I love the image of that moon caught in the swaying hold of the trees- - -and the words caught and swaying doubled not only in that image but also in engendering the feeling of romance. You are a mastery of scenery, of simile and metaphor, and atmosphere and love poems! 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Full moon traps between trunks. Over the bamboo fence we witness love meeting each other. Every time the trees capture the moon. Seeing smiling face conveys about deep love. Very interesting composition is shared here.10

I don't think you ever forget some of the magic that young love seems to provide. The love musings of a poet need time to mature. Young poets are often ill equipped to do justice to it and write of how she looks and swoon with common emotional depictions. You have added much more substance in an eloquent fashion. My friend, Akhtar, is older than you, and yet has written some of the best love I have read on this site..
