Over And Over Poem by James Hall

Over And Over

Over and over you sit here and lie
Over and over I sit here and cry,
Every word you told me was fake
It's more than any man should take,
Do you remember when you said
That you wished I was dead,
Well right now I'm on the edge
My feet are teetering off this ledge,
Over and over you sit here and lie
Over and over I sit here and cry,
My days are numbered few
I only wish they were spent with you,
Everything I felt for you is real
I only wish you could feel,
All the pain you put me through
Just tell me what the hell happened to you,
Over and over I hear what you said
Over and over I can't help but feel dead.
