Over And Out Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Over And Out

Over and out

It was good while it lasted
Now each to their lonely path
Path made of life choices
guided by internal voices
It seemed like fun initially
Like we were in Naples Italy
But something snapped in you and i
We stopped seeing eye to eye
Is it something i said?
Some memory debt not paid?
A flitting playback of a bad incident?
Or fear of a non-existent accident?

Whatever the reason it busted
It was really good while it lasted
It is good to stay in your lane
To avoid being driven insane
To avoid inadvertent repetition
Of the imaginery revelation
Which your life is based on
affecting you on your own
There is a wish and there is reality
Surreal occurrences and actualty.
Best is to live real live stories
And not climb to giddy storeys

It was good while it lasted
Life beautifully crafted
While it lasted it felt good
Got me in the right mood
Now it's over
It's over
No one to shout
Over and out

Love is reality and not fairy tale bubbles. I love this piece .
