Over Again Poem by Natasha Dowdy

Over Again

Rating: 4.0

When you feel you’re not good enough

To start this whole thing anew

Where do you go?

What do you do?

It’s all lies every direction you choose.

You stare into the mirror

Not seeing what they see.

Not knowing what they know.

All you feel is the lies you’ve always been told.

'I’m here for you, baby.

I’ll make it all go away.

I’ll be the one you turn to,

I’ll be the one to stay.

You don’t have to worry,

I’m the shoulder for you to cry.

I’ll be the one when you’re dying inside.'

It’s all a fallacy

A make believe story

Get what you want,

And take what you need.

I’ll be ok,

I’ll make it through.

Just remember,

I felt the same about you.
