Out Of The Womb Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Out Of The Womb

Rating: 4.5

Imagery, doxology and canticles!
Strictly at a private place to be carried away;

Mackerel, salmon and tuna!
Schooling and playing;

Bluefish, minnow and sardine!
In the name of the beauty of the earth;

Carp, haddock and snapper!
Like the necklace around your neck;

Cod, halibut and sunfish!
To the chessboard games;

Children need to be children!
With positive morals,

Women need to be women!
With positive morals;

Men need to be men!
With positive morals;

Out of the womb to face the problems on this earth,
With suicide, homicide and genocide from the hands of the wicked ones among us.
