Our Tree Comments

This is a heart-felt and stirring poem. I loved every line of it for the sharp, precise, endearing images you created. The tree is both itself throughout the poem but also a symbol of the brother ans sister bond which is rooted in feelings paralleling the tree rooted in earth. But you take this poem into deeper territory with the awareness of time passing, with the mature knowledge it will eventually pass us by. That brings in some sad notes to the music of your poem but I commend you for taking in the whole of life and not just its pleasantries.
