Our Place Poem by Tom Allport

Our Place

Rating: 5.0

How lucky each day
The sun shines down
Warming the ground
In every way......
Nothing is impossible
Nothing can delay
A hearts boldest beat
The noise of childrens play
How fragrant the flowers
How tall the man?
Who shows his hand
To his brother of place
In time and fortune
That is no disgrace
The waves of the sea
The smile of a face
God only knows
Its our place.
