Our Own Private, Personal Time Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Our Own Private, Personal Time

Looking towards midnight when darkness encloses life in its moonbeams from above, bringing dreams to mind, wanting to lie with you my love, hoping you feel the same.

Wandering throughout the day, slipping and sliding across many duties of world and home, a total and absolutely
moment seems to take up so much time.

Furrowing deeply beneath visions of our coming together when rhythms of our hearts combine, making music just
for we two.

No one else in our private, personal time together when the silence of night covers us both like a blanket to keep us warm, loving and holding one another close like a blanket.

Loving and holding one another close we become one in
the beating of our hearts and breath of our souls, such a
great way to take one another wholly.

Feeling pleasant desires and passion being combined as
we two become one again, a blessed and intriguing time,
sharing our love throughout the night.
