Our Love, Dear, Needs A Break
The WhatsApp that she sent, what a dart!
Dart, not of flowers made— it did hurt,
Which, like Thus the Lord Spake,
Said, our love needs a break,
We can't be close unless we're apart,
Love flourishes, forlorn feels if heart.
We're far too together
To let love grow fonder,
So, at least for a short time let's part.
With social distancing
Our love may sing next spring.
