Winter has killed Autumn with frost, the old slaves hide the trees, they cough out ice and fill the ways with hardness. The snow sidelines the fields, black clouds hunt against the pale, crows shatter like glass. Then this is the Winter, brittle and heavy with sleep.
Four in One In spring I face the shaving mirror In summer I sit to eat my lunch In autumn I cook an evening meal In winter I lie under the duvet
