POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We can escape our inclination to use words that hurt others by recognizing that the ultimate Hearer of our words is God. When we seek to please God with our conversations about others, we honor Him, and He gives us the wisdom to use our words well.

This is a great haiku with a marvelous message. I don't write many haiku myself but I know a good one when I see it!
