Our Human Stain. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Our Human Stain.

We see Eden where there is intolerance...

We dream about a world of peace,
but we kill ourselves piece by piece.
We feed our endless human stain,
it's higher than the highest mountain.

We dream about a world full of grace,
but we send our fellows to the grave
We believe, we are wise and brave,
but we build a world of disgrace.

We feel Eden where there is violence…
