Our Ends Poem by Casey Stewart

Our Ends

Another one left the other day
So quick as they all go
No goodbye or words of advice
To his end he found
As my father had before him
This year has been tainted by so many deaths
To the dark they fall, to the place I fear to go
Goodbye my friend, goodbye my father
Drowning in the murky waters of uncertainty
So many questions left unanswered
We will join you all someday
In the ground or in the sea
Or as some believe, in the sky
We all walk, to our ends
Slowly…
