Oscar And 'playmate' Poem by james watkin

Oscar And 'playmate'

The day's serene attitude
Such as first acclaimed by
Silent listeners twitched:
Moth's quiescent wing, cat's paw to defy!

A wrinkle in the ether.
Abstraction's windless place
I sat drowsing in shook:
Near meows lifted, a squealing to trace!
