Ordinary Versus Exceptional
While ordinary people
Are on facebook, wasting time,
Exceptional writers are busy
Honing their craft.
Someday, they'll reap untold renown
And much more than a dime,
While facebook addicts chase fake fame,
Becoming more daft.
No one cares what you ate for lunch today,
But they'll care if you have something of substance to say.
The wordsmith who works in isolation
Wins recognition and acclamation.
A great write! A great feast! So what was it that you had for lunch today, tuna fish or fame and fortune? I think you should make yourself a poetic sandwich, for you have layered this poem with wit, wisdom, substance and just enough garnish not to spoil the flavor. Many good points to ponder and digest!

You are very right. No one cares for food or heath. Technology addicts are growing in social media. Ordinary people are wasting time but writers are busy in sharing their writings. Who works in isolation is clever and he or she will have both victory and success with winning recognition. An Amazing brilliant poem is excellently penned...10

It's about time that someone put writing and informative priorities in their place. As with everything else these social media putrid dumps are soiling society, social contact and creative writing. All of this is well denounced in this extremely Well-Written poem. . Excellent work
