1 - i normally WOULD use " it was hidden" , but, using " poetic license" ***, i chose " it was hid" in order to make a 'better' rhyme with " did" . i asked Google about " was hid" and found some reference to the Bible using " hid" and " hidden" interchangeably. of course we are not Bible writers now, thank God! ! !

It was a shame indeed that I failed to read this poem a bit earlier, especially considering that it was inspired by me! Your proclivity towards humour defines your poetry, and makes it wholly yours. I would only " lambaste" , from a grammatical perspective, your usage of the words " it was hid" , for I surmise that " it was hidden" is alone correct.

I wished you defined what oppugnant means, so I do not have to look it up myself!
