The door was open,
Easily I entered the room,
There were so many beautiful things,
That I remained completely engrossed in those,
Whole day I enjoyed those things with my heart's content.
But in the evening
When I tried to come out of the room,
I could not,
Though the door was also open then,
It seemed strange to me,
As I pondered deeply to find out the reason of it,
I clearly realised that
The lovely things had completely grabbed my soul,
For which I had to stay in that wonderful room forever.
This is what happens at times to many of us.....be it a full moon sky or a pleasant sun rise or a sun set or something as you have said about those beautiful things in a room...we get absorbed in those things with no mind to get out of it....beautiful description you have given in this poem...interesting very much
A beautiful poem! I like your simple, clean and clear cut expression... keep it up!
