Uttered words, written thoughts, Both speak about us. So, it's better to neither say nor write Words we would later want to hide. A great advice that has an universal appeal.

It is a good rule to be careful what you write, since words do become immortal. This is a very good lesson for writers.

There is much wisdom in what you have stated in your poem! There is a saying....! Three things never come back; spoken word, sped arrow and lost opportunity. in the same way once our thoughts are expressed either in words or writings, they become public. We no more have any control over them. So we should be careful not to use words in writing or verbal form that might in future cause embarrassment or regret in us! Well articulated. A five star grade!

Written words remain. Written wherever! Some day, some prying eyes Will sure discover! /// so, no need to hide the self thoughts, motto, ethics, beliefs, activities; have to write all in words; cause- the written words remain longer lasting and one day it'll be discovered by some curious minds.
