A very sincere and meaningful write. The line knowing time has set you free says it all. A good read.
The departed lives in our thoughts and hearts always like an eternal flame that is lit by our deep love! Beautiful, moving write Val!
Time has set free the ones who departed. Those who live await their turn. One must live till that time. Beautiful poem.
The image of the departed dear one etched deep within leads to having hallucinations of seeing him before our eyes! Then we get lost in an illusory world. But when reality dawns on us, the very next moment, we are again plunged into loneliness, but with a fleeting joy of having enjoyed at least a momentary presence..... A very poignant write!
very sad but absolutely well written poem... how are you madam.... thanks for sharing....
Reality and illusion work together in our mind. We, want to get our dear ones so intensely that the sense of possibility and impossibility we forget. But, the sudden comeback to reality makes us feel the impossibility.A heart-touching write Val.Loved.
Such a lovely poem Valerie, indeed I have had that experience.
Thoughts intense and immaculate can rightly create illusions and they leave us in a spell of their own. I do believe we need not assert them as images capable of misguiding us. Val, your life had a phase of togetherness of absolute meaning and its memory flashes across your mind time and again. Time hasn`t set him free: nor do you need to await a thing of that sort. A vacuum has no substitution in another and practical we have to be. Anyway, here is an award of 10 marks for your tribute paid once again.
A sad and beautiful poem, the longing we can have for a loved one can sometimes hurt.
A poignant poem Val, well written (as always)
