One Year On Poem by Alison Gaff

Its one year on since you did pass
Can't believe it's gone so fast
I think of you most every day
Thoughts of you never far away

So today thought I feel sad
I drove to Clevedon and I'm glad
I walked the pier and stayed a while
And thoughts of you did make me smile

Our times together were the best
I hope that you are now at rest
I miss you so and feel alone
But know that friends are by the phone

You'll always be here in my heart
We'll never truly be apart
And may be someday we'll reunite
Could be in deep dreams in the night.
