One Writer's Reluctance Poem by Richard D Remler

One Writer's Reluctance

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I refuse.
I absolutely refuse
To write.
Even though
Words seem to
Haunt me
Tonight.
I'll not scribble a word.
I'll not utter a vowel.
I admit. I'm defeated.
I throw in the towel.
I've conceded,
'Tis true.
I'll write nothing
Today.
You're wasting your time.
I have nothing to say.
