Randy, He was elected by just one vote Democracy they say had truly spoke? You've got to be kidding. A literate person would know to write spoken. Now all that our patriots knew and died for, they now know, ? Really? That's barely English. Whatever you studied in Scotland, it wasn't poetry.

Randy, I like your sentiments, but too many usage errors and most of all, a sing-songy element from the rhymes and attempts at meter. This kind of formal poetry died many years ago.
