This marvelous poem brings out the importance, beauty and wonders of Bitter Gourd. A unique vegetable-fruit that can be used as food or medicine. Though it is the most bitter among all vegetables and fruits, it has been a part of our food since childhood. The flowers, fruits and leaves are all edible. The flowers are strikingly yellow which has been beautifully captured in the poem and the picture attached to the poem.
