One Shot
One shot
One shot was fired
We imagined it might have been from cracker
"Hai Raam" we heard from Bapu's mouth
Soon he was declared with death
It was prayer time
Everybody was allowed at this time
Even though Bapu* was warned of danger
He took it in lighter mood
My life is an open book
He shook his head
And showed no interest
"I am not" he was going for crucial test
My duty is over
My mission needs no cover
The political party must wind wings
We have shown to nation whatever we wanted to bring
One bullet and he had gone
The gruesome thing was done
We lost the father of the nation
Even though it was his life time work with solid foundation
