If I could free one mind from plaguing,
Save one heart from breaking,
Bring peace to one soul that's aching,
Hold one hand that's shaking,
Protect one pride from fading,
Mold one smile that's faking,
Stop one war from raging,
I would gladly surrender to the undertaking!
