Never serving evil should be everyone's primary objective and aim in life, because that's where violence starts from. Helping others from the heart and never counting the cost is what humanity needs to be doing in order to bring peace in our world. Standing together against evil and destroying it is the only way to a lasting peace and an end to violence. 10+++++++++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
The serpent said? You think I'd believe what a serpent tells me? I'd rather trust Ayn Rand, and, in fact, do. But I don't take it to the extreme like she does. Smooth progression, thought-provoking, and entirely enjoyable.

This is a stunning response to the Paris Massacre because you are dealing with the underlying issues that cause such a resort to violence and in the process show a much better path for us humans to follow once we think things through. This poem is a summons and a challenge to people of basic good will, because no appeal we make at this time will penetrate the certitude of the ISIS-type terrorist. Your poem will reach those who are uninformed and complacent and stir them into solidarity with us who occupy the center of humanity.
