One Of The Lucky Indeed Poem by Francis Duggan

One Of The Lucky Indeed

If you have good health and of money not in need
Then you must be one of the lucky indeed
Physically feeling well and without an ache or pain
You are one without a reason to complain
You have healthy children a partner who loves you nice home and good car
Not everyone is as lucky as you are
In a World where so many are doing it tough
Often hungry and homeless and sleeping rough
Since so many of life's necessities must go without
You are one with a lot to be happy about
So many who does survive from day to day
It does seem lady luck keeps on smiling your way
Just back with your children and partner from an overseas holiday
That life is kind to you only true to say.
