One Is My Beloved Poem by james watkin

One Is My Beloved

Someone is lying out there
In a museful state.
There are waves of heat rising
From wheatfield's estate.

Summer day's of summer night's
Bedded place o'erlaid.
If for what's felt, up-hearted
Afar, Love's prayer aid.
