One Helluva Whore Poem by Richard Wlodarski

One Helluva Whore

Rating: 5.0

She loved me and I loved her more
Couldn't let her tie me to door
In some ways she was a damn whore
But she was band-aid to my sore

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Kerouac had a love/hate relationship with his mother. Some authors have inferred that the language they used with each other was that of lovers rather than mother and son. In spite of this, there has never been an inference of incest.

I did not know this about Jack. It must stem from a deep need for actual love neither of them had access to. So became the proverbial thorn in their side (see St. Paul - EPISTLE TO ROMANS I believe) The outstanding case of fantasized (?) incest: Georg Trakl and his sister - see my poem IN YOUR WORLD
