The themes circle around disappointment, love, relationships. Emotions evoked: grief, missing someone, and pain

Reveals the extent to which people will deny the possibility of grief as a way of coping with inevitable loss, comparing it to an art form that can be easily mastered

So true! We are going to lose things one by one- fact of life. Just hope to keep my sanity and love for life longest!

There needs to be some end to disasters, a questioning, but we are not allowed to do that and so, we just need to reinvent ourselves.

I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster, some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent. I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster. very nice poem. ton y

The art of loosing and acceptance of decay is as it may. The inverse of boiling the lobster alive... Indeed a disaster. With unavoidable phases, no predictability mingled in a tapestry of danger, fight or flight, stay or depart, an art without reliable treaties or crush courses.
