Very true! Only yesterday I observed how the civilised society push rules and system over children as young as two. Lucky the kids who lives in remote villages, they get to keep their innocence as long as possible, I guess...
This poem sums up what childhood used to be. Pure, innocent, fun, carefree, living Now the face of childhood has changed into discrimination, distrust, unhealthy, inactive, dark, abused, raped, abandoned. Thank for reminding us of our wonderful childhood
Once we were children... If we hadn't trusted our mothers... We fell on the ground... We just wanted to play / we just wanted playing... We made loud noise... Of dying we didn't have any fear... Did we know what discrimination was? Tell a lie... But the idea is good. Try to pay attention to grammar and spelling. Best wishes. I'd be glad to see your comments on my poems. Your pal, Sina.
this is a nice descriptive of childhood, i remember how i wished i had a childhood like that and still do this well written great work
Super poem. I can not expect any better poem than this expressing feelings of a child which is very much realistic. a great write. In your last stanza you have stated children are close to god but they never feel the fact. Magnificent. Top.
Wow, amazing one...i have read this poem for two times, this work really shows how we were and how we are now, the meaning is so deep and sharp. i like the lines: How many times we felt on the ground? We just wanted to playing around.) they are really meaningful.! i love this poem so much Dear Nader. Keep up it.! Well done
