I have to agree with you here. I like writing various forms of poetry, but when trying for a rhyme that suits the piece of writing can add so much time and effort to the complete the work. Yet it is always worth the effort! !

May be due To the fact that We and society Have changed, too Breaking so many rules Then drowning, In our own chaotic pools. Your rhyming was perfect And your first line, also It's curious how " once upon a time" Opens the past So delicately, And takes you By the hand, Affectionately.

Yup gone are days feet and meter took driver's seat Modern poetry is all about hearts matter...... however you poem is a little Jew anyone can wear it. Smooth of appreciable words. Hmmm good rating is all I can do.
