Once upon a time, when I worked so aimlessly,
At the local college of spurious knowledge.
We had to develop things called ILPs: that's
'Individual Learning Plans' for those not so
Familiar with so called ' educational'
Models.Anyway, to cut a long story short,
Like lesson plans, they were a real pain in the neck.
So I decided, in my wisdom, to refer
To them, rather cynically, as 'Incredibly
Laborious Paperwork', since I considered
The whole enterprise to be nothing but a sham!
O it was like teaching with a straight jacket on!
Now that I'm free, from this most repressive system,
I can plan and teach so much more creatively.
Creative teaching is far more better that stereotype teaching. Beautiful. Please kindly check my poems HOPE and THE BEAUTY OF DEATH. Kingsley Egbukole

That was bad but I disdained the endless meetings where many problems were aired and few solved. I too have been in the education game and am glad that I am now retired. Anyhow, good expression of your disdain. Well penned as usual, Dominic.
Ah yes the endless meetings chaired by meddling middle managers who were completely redundant and got in the way...like midges at a campsite! These days, my middle name is disdain!
