Once In My Life Poem by Minerva Agriam

Once In My Life

Once in my life I did the worst
Thing to myself;
I made myself a martyr and
Sufferer for love;
In the morning, I strew
Hopes & joys for love;
During the evening I waited for
His calls & sweet notes.

Day by day I hope for
Lovely moments;
Where free as the wind our
Love will set us free.
In winter and in summer
Always our love is green;
And when fall and spring come,
Our love will bloom.

Once in my life, I dreamt of having
You by my side;
Where the evening frost & fright
Are lost to the dark.
The hopes and dreams of
Daylight shall come alive;
Snd its you who makes all
These dreams come true.
