Once I met an owl
One that couldn't howl
Neither could it growl
But it wasn't its own foul
With me it came to prowl
On its face a constant scowl

Γνώρισα μια κουκουβάγια
Που με φώναζε κανάγια
Έτρωγε κυρίως βάγια
Και μαζί λίγη παπάγια
Μα την βρήκανε τα σκάγια
Και δεν είχε πια κουράγια
