A lovely poem. In urban settings a sense of detachment in so prevalent it doesn't escape the eyes. your poem expresses so very well.

Geetha - your this poem is an eye opener declaring to the society or to humanity as how mean and self centered we became! ! ! We are so much isolated that don't feel to know or mix with the next door neighbor even forget the society or other bigger platforms. Very nicely you unzipped the pants of those neighbor who are of this nature (I believe they are very many) . Thank you Geetha for using this sugar coated saw in this poem.

A usual thing happening in urban life is given beautiful poetic expression! Man has become so detached and self centred that he doesn't know even his immediate neighbour! The rural scene is far more hopeful that way! People live in harmony and love and everyone knows the other person! Enjoyed this beautiful poem Geetha! A10
