Now twice i've read this Brian Mayo poem, which supplies 'sugar' to me, like does phloem, and though i doubt that the poem's a tree, i'm glad to have found it. was it written for me?

Yes, you've done all that Brian. And if you can do that, it speaks volumes about your poetry. The use of the term transparent is so multi-layered in this piece, that stacked up together, the lines are difficult to interpret, yet the reader is still left with the bittersweet impression of transparency. A challenging undertaking successfully conveyed. ;) LOL

Pam, it's like you can see right through me... (chortle, snicker, guffaw)

Humor, wit and poetry, all wrapped up in a neat little package. I loved it.

Poems come in to being by writing down thoughts and reading poems is interpreting them differently. Poetry amounts to both, I feel. Thanks for sharing.
