had faith in meeting you here.

Something ever-present connects us to something ever-lasting, and we welcome their presence. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We have restored in each other what was missing, and Many Years ahead will resound with our singing. When we stand here, side by side, who can tell the Poet from the Muse? - - - - - - -I am coming back to this poem again and again. As Nosheen said it is a work of sheer beauty and elegance.
Beautiful timing and framing the technique and phrasing flawless a poem of love and celebration Enjoyed the ride thanks
Thanks, Paul, for your appreciation. Everything came together in a harmony of words when I wrote this: we must acknowledge the Muse and her gifts!
A lovely picture of warmth, hope n friendship. That's the beauty of life, to come across people, form lasting bonds, to find people you can connect with on a spiritual plane. A work of sheer beauty n elegance. Friendship is indeed a beautiful thing to cherish n treasure. A perfect 10.
You write about friendship with quiet eloquence (the best kind!) , Nosheen. You emphasize the emotional benefits are also moral benefits, and thus make a wonderful triad of Poetry: emotion, morality and friendship. This truly is the spiritual plane! ! Thank you, my friend.
with your lovely muse who plays the flute. I love how you weave a poem and tell a story. I can see your Muse was by your side....and I love the line, we hardly know we have been touched. These words make me think about how the poet has to be receptive to the voices, the inspiration, despite being pulled in multiple directions that dull the voice we hear. There are so many times I have been hit with ideas, words, inspirations at inopportune times...and waited...and then when I went back to the words, they were gone. Well done.
Thanks so much, Pam. Your comment expressed your appreciation but you also had an insight into the aesthetics of the poem in the poet's double readiness: to feel and grasp the words to express the feeling. I'm glad you pointed out my Muse was at my side: We want, we need the Muse's presence and another person can verify, Don't doubt it: she was with you.
SO NICE POEM AND I HAVE FULLY ENJOYED.
