Great poem. I love these lines 'It wouldn't be fair to grade just by counting clicks It should be by counting the hearts which ticked'. Keep on smiling!

A flower is a flower it knows what it is , never yet thinks where it is, yet it never holds back its florence of beauty, nor yet it hides its fragrance in places by distinction yet i know the reeks of the site by narrow ending......................

Hey Pandian, I guess I would leave this site soon, and look for more greener grass in which I can grow to a full blown poet.Poemhunter.com has made me competing with those phantom poets who're not supposed to be on top of the ranking.Im goin to delet all of my poems here and just leave, if this shameless act is still rampant! ! Sulaiman aka Brett.

Truly said. These poets are also familiar to me and they also present good poetry. Yes. Counting by hits and counting by heart- both have different footing. Counting by hits- many of us do not know who are all posting new poems and it is natural to receive messages from these poets. Thus, counting by hits starts. Naturally we will be mild in our reviews and casting our votes. We do come across a junk of poems but often do not open our mouth. We lack familiarity of the great works of great poets. Structure wise we may differ but value wise we should not differ. This is my basic view. The essence of life is universal. We continue to write because we are not yet familiar with the greatest work. The moment we realise the truth, we will put down our pens. The moment we understand the greatest truth, we will become silent in every respect. The din of the world is all due to the fact that it hasn't realised the truth as yet.

Still, a true poet’s worth is known and remains One who never can replaced be by mere statistics It wouldn't be fair to grade just by counting clicks It should be by counting the hearts which ticked You are very much right, Angelina. Poetry and poets cannot be weighed by statistics and clicks. Infact, the grading and staging of poets is judged by counting the number of hearts and souls they soak through with spillage of their consolatory, pure, true and wisdomful words. Nice tributery words for applause of poetry. Best Wishes Naseer
