On My Mind And In My Heart
Though parted by the endless tide
thoughts and longings of you reside.
In my mind and in my heart burns
the restless call to love and yearn.
Sleeping or waking you are mine
My one thought that glows in my mind.
Memories like flindered stones bright
are unbreaking and unending light.
For you my prayers winged fly
across waves and above the sky.
To find you where you wandering go
In distant lands where the shadows grow.
