On Jack's One Hundredth Birthday Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

On Jack's One Hundredth Birthday

Rating: 5.0

A hundred years
On the road
Casting a million wanderers
To find an America
That doesn't exist
And you, Jack Kerouac
Were the first
With Neal and Allen
Driving for an eternity
On this Karma Earth
The Dharma of looking
At the sunset of life is
Worth more than love,
Money and saluation
I continue to seek yr prize

Very nice tribute, LeeAnn. Let's see... my dad would be approaching his 115th birthday if he were still alive.
