Most people, Mike, are unaware, perhpas deliberately, of what they want.. We chase dreams that are hollow.. Mere materialism cannot buy one happiness and peace. One of the finest intellectuals India has ever produced, Amartya Sen, said that money is nothing without human rights and freedom of expression.. I guess, to put it in a very un-intellectual manner, almost bluntly, our goals should concentrate on making good memories.. We will not remember how at our young days we had been fighting cats and dogs to climb up the corporate ladder to get a big house, fancy cars, carrying an I-Phone etc... But we certainly will remember the days we spent with the ones we love.. And then hope that we live our lives in a manner that we will be remembered for good once we are gone.. A fine work pal.. As usual, your simplicity is your best feature.. Thanks.

A great way of putting it Souren. Our greatest goals are the ones which bring us together with the ones we love. Which cement our place in their memory as a cherished person. Thanks

A stunning piece, Mike. You are incredibly insightful. Many people would like what you have described (including me) But beyond that, you nailed the heck out of the conclusion. There are all the answers you want at your disposal if you would just ask yourself and be 100% honest. Even in the worst of questions you could ask yourself; dig deep and be HONEST. This requires a little time when you can be undisturbed and devote your full attention to the undertaking. Many times, the answers are truly right there; the questions can sometimes elude though. Keep inquiring of yourself.

Being honest with ones self is sometimes tough to do. The truth isn't always what we want to hear... But that doesn't make it any less true. It takes practice to be 100% candid. I'm working on it. And hopefully improving at least a bit. Thanks kelly
