Ouch, ouch, OUCH! ! ! ! Our arm(s) hurts, due to armaments, me thinks! ! ! speaking of China, i suppose. i'm no world-watcher. and i'm glad i'm not one of the ones 'running' this OR any other country! ! ! Heck, lots of people are glad! ! bri :)
I see what you mean. You referred to Chins, but but if you read carefully I am primarily talking about another country. It is not hard to guess. Thank you for taking interest and for incisive comments. I am always for frank comments. There is too much of goody-goody feedback, which would lower the standards of the poems. Have you seen any rating less than 10?
p.s. i liked/was attracted to...the title. and NOW i've read the 'topics' and see " humour" as well as " war" . i guess i may spy a tiny humor/humour in it....if i get out my poetic magnifying glass. :)
Thank you Bri, it is basically humour and as is my limerick style it always tries to tell something. As to humour and war both sharing a place together does of course seem a bit in-congruent, I agree with you. But then PH has not listed humour as a subject, though it has laughter, and funny (and I do find it funny) .
