I shall close my eyes
And pretend to be blind
To the terrorism
On Christmas Day
I shall close my ears
And pretend to be deaf
To sounds of gunfire
On Christmas Day
I shall close my mouth
And pretend to be dumb
To President Donald Duck
On Christmas Day
I shall open my heart
My soul's gift of love and peace
To a now starving humanity
