[ On A Splendid Day ] Poem by Zyw Zywa

Preface: I've been in the OLVG (Health Care Centre of Our Lady)for two weeks, most of the time in the ICU. It took some time before it could be diagnosed that my pneumonia was from Legionella longbeachae, which is rare in the Netherlands. It came from the garden soil. Bad luck for me.


On a splendid day

they nested and quickly grew -


a large family.



They enjoyed their stay

there, in the cosy corners -


all over my lungs.
