The seed He moulded viable
Planted in humus
Sprouted rich and healthy
He still fed the seed
from the dark soil
And light bright above
Like a helpless invalid
The radicle He directs
Through the debris, sand and rock
The dark and uncertainties He knew
To stand and hold the tree erect
The plumule He leads
To shoot and stem through odds
To blossom and mature
And yield to His pleasure
Adult now, yes
Yet He departs not from care
From the seed He loved and sowed
Till it returns to Him - the planter
