These sort of nightmares is a result of an apprehension in our subconscious mind, which can foresee some bad time or destruction ahead and thus cautioning us with this gloomy obscurity. Very thoughtful write and enlightening one.

Such nightmares may be the indication of the onset of some disastrous events! It is believed that howls hoot, wolves howl and dogs bark just before the outbreak of an earthquake or a tsunami.... as animals are more sensitive to Nature's changes! Great write!
Owl hooted, dog barked, and cat did mew, Ominous omens are these I thought Age is due. Oh! My nightmare broke down and I came to know, Overthrow of Confluence Age is coming let’s owe.
