peD ki ek shakaha k neechay
agar mere paas shaaeri ki ek kitab ho,
shraab se bhari hui ek surhaaee ho,
ek chapaati ho aur tu, meri jaan-e-jaan,
ganay gaati hui jungle main mere saath ho,
to ye jungle fir mere liyay jannat bun jaaey ga.

Beside me singing in the wilderness
And wilderness is paradise now.
