Omanisation- A Sonnet
By Joji Varghese Kuncheria
Omanisation was a blessing in disguise,
For some to sack many a salient unfairly,
To do away with the ones, true and wise,
Throwing many a business in hurly burly.
So was I sent away on the above reason,
With little value given for selfless service,
To the only award recipient in any season,
Still a lingering mystery to many in service.
I thanked and said adieu to leave merrily,
To take the grand vacation of my career,
To travel, to write poems and eat heavily,
To forget the injustice they did this year.
But golden days are in the bud to bloom,
As I wait upon the Lord for a sonic boom.
